The outbreak of COVID-19 has forced school districts across the nation to rethink delivery of special education services. With the pandemic forcing extended school closures, administrators and teachers alike are having to grapple with how to deliver educational services to our students with disabilities. We are perfectly aware of what federal law mandates, but that does not make the delivery of services any easier. There are a number of reasons as to why, but, the bottom line for all of us is that we are charting new unexplored territories, and it is going to take some time! But we are working diligently to make this happen for our students and their families.
