Happy New Year!
2020
Some of us welcomed 2020 with a big bang while others ushered the new year in softly and quietly. Whatever the choice made to ring in the new year… 2020 is here! For those of you who know me, I like to start my year with a theme or a word and/or a scripture. That becomes my mantra for the year, my direction for the year, my source of encouragement for the year, my reminder of the direction I want to go. This year’s word is more! More what?
More than a conqueror!
I will strive to be more than just a survivor. I don’t just want to survive my circumstance, I want to conquer it by coming out stronger, wiser, bolder, better off.
More than enough!
God has already given and will give me all that I need to accomplish my dreams! No matter what people, circumstance, or things dictate, I am more than enough!
More new decisions!
I was listening to a book on success. The author stated that a new year won’t change my life; change the direction I want to go. But new decisions will!
And finally, I saved the best for last!
More GOD!
In every area of my life!!!
Do you have one? More _________________. Fill in the blank and share. I will pray for each and every one of your mores!
T.S. Eliot once said, “For last year’s words belong to last year’s language and next year’s words await another voice. And to make an end is to make a beginning.”
For all who are reading my post, no matter how 2019 ended for you, it has come to an end. God blessed you to see another year! That means you have another opportunity for a new beginning… a more beginning! Whatever your more is, I pray it moves you in a direction of tremendous growth, bold faith, intimate trust, complete peace, God’s favor, His love, expectant hope, biblical prosperity, radiant joy, overflowing success, delivering grace, unmeasurable mercy, and a fire for something new!
Happy New Year!
