2017 has been a year full of ups and downs. For some of us, the ups may have outweighed the downs. For some of us, the ups may have been few, and the downs… well, the struggle is real!!! As I pen my final post for 2017, I struggle with what to write. Having lost my sister/best friend and then turn around and lose a very dear sister friend, inspiration has been ephemeral. So, I do what I always do when I struggle. I turn to God. I rely on scripture. I meditate. I pray. I read. And then it hits me, I know what to write, I know what to impart, I know what to say. First, let me say Thank you!!!

We are just hours away from welcoming in 2018. We do so with a wide range of emotions. For some, it’s hope, expectation and excitement for what the future holds. For others, it’s anxiety and uncertainty. While we don’t know what faces us in the coming year, we can find comfort in God’s promises. Amid an ever-changing world, God remains the same. My final words for 2017 is a prayer for us. My prayer for each and every one of us is that we awaken to see 2018. Because when we do, January 1st, 2018, is day 1 of 365 days of possibilities! I pray that God will do a new thing in our lives, that He has amazing plans for us and that His plans are for us to prosper. I pray for our health and well-being. I pray for overcoming every challenge, obstacle that we might face. I pray for peace, mercy, grace, hope, faith, joy, and love for each and every one of us. In Jesus name, Amen.

As 2017 comes to a close, I wish you a 2018 full of possibilities.
